Mosaic Life Care offers nurses a comprehensive, individualized nursing orientation. It consists of an eight-day classroom orientation and a 2-10 week (based on experience, ability and job setting) unit-based orientation. In specialty areas, orientation may last up to six months. Orientation is geared specifically to each nurse's experience level and learning needs. Each new nurse is mentored by a registered nurse preceptor who reviews the nurse's responsibilities and assesses his or her needs.
